It felt great to be back at Beaver Springs for our second race of the season. Weather conditions for Saturday were clear but hot and a forecast showing likelihood of rain on Sunday.

We began Saturday with a 19 car field but began eliminations with 18 as Ray Bloom had issues that prevented him from making eliminations.

Qualifying results were as follows:

Eliminations Round One:

Race One: Don Fardie and Bill Magliane started off eliminations. This was a double foul round with Don going .0896 red and Bill going .0598 red. By rule Bill lit the red first giving the win to Don.

Great to be back at Beaver. We like all of the tracks we race at…so we can’t play favorites but Beaver is special…and that’s a wrap for Beaver Day 1!

A great day for both racers, but especially Don as he was scheduled for back surgery following this race and will be sidelined for a while. We wish him a speedy and full recovery!
